Their marriage ended in 1987, but the ending was not peaceful. According to several police reports, Sean climbed the wall of Madonna's Malibu home tied her up and assaulted her continuously for 9 hours. He swept her off her feet and gave her a love story which every girl dreams of, but even their marriage ended. Tom Cruise met Katie Holmes in 2005, they got engaged after few weeks of dating. They were married according to the rituals of Scientology religion. Out of the blue, Katie filed for divorce in 2012 ending their five years of union. People close to Katie state that she was scared about Tom's Scientology religion and wanted to keep Suri away from it. In July, 2012 their divorce was finalized, but Tom was appalled and heartbroken. Katie Holmes has custody of Suri.

Demi was 41 and Ashton was 25 when they were introduced to each other in 2003, the 16-year age difference was not a hurdle in their relationship.
